Pure Purple

Purple tea is a unique brew that is native to Kenya. It is made from the camellia sinensis plant like all pure teas but in this case the plant itself turned purple - naturally. When tested it has been found to contain superior levels of antioxidants called Anthocyanins than green tea making it a truly distinctive addition to the world of tea. 

This fine tea is best enjoyed on it's own or with a squeeze of lemon to see the colour turn.

Caffeine Level - Low

Steeping Notes - Fresh spring green finish

 - Use 1 teaspoon of tea per cup and steep at 80˚ C for 2 - 3 minutes, strain and serve OR

- Use 1 teaspoon of loose tea per cup of cold water, then cover and leave in the fridge for 4-6 hours, strain and serve.
